ABOUT ME

Hi! I’m Jessica. I am 20 years old and travelling is my passion. Im was born and raised in North Shore, New Zealand but moved to the Gold Coast, Australia when i was 16.

I am a mix of different cultures i am English, Welsh, Irish, Maori and Lebanese. So I have quite a large variety of heritage and culture.

Im currently in my 3rd gap year trying to figure out what to do with my life. Im mainly focusing on enjoying myself and always doing what makes me happy and what I love which at the moment is travelling, my goal would be to have a career in the travel industry.

Ive technically been travelling solo since i was 6 when my mum would fly me to family in Australia to see family (that counts right?). My first big overseas trip was with a school friend of mine and her family to Scotland and England when i was 14.

I took my first semi solo trip in March 2015. I travelled to Europe for 1 month. I first did a Contiki Tour “Simply Italy” for 12 days. Then travelled solo to Paris and Reims, France for 5 days then Edinburgh, Scotland for 3 days and finished off in London, England and Bath, England for 6 days.

I have just got back from my second solo trip to Turkey and Greece. I spent 4 days in Istanbul, 8 days sailing around the Aegean Sea from Bodrum, Turkey with Contiki and then spent 2 days in Athens, Greece before doing a short 4 day Contiki around Athens, Olympia and Delphi then I finished off with a 11 day Greek Island Hopping tour before sadly coming home. In total my trip was 32 days.

My next adventure is moving to the UK with my mum early to mid 2016.
